Founder
Justin Courtney has more than 18 years’ experience in sustainability, communications, marketing and policy roles in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Europe. He has experience in food, fibre, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and the transport sector.
He was most recently on the executive of global food exporter Silver Fern Farms, where he led the development and delivery of their communications and sustainability strategies for 8 years. In that time, Silver Fern Farms became New Zealand’s first meat company to develop a sustainability programme and to have a verified carbon footprint with an industry-leading emissions reduction programme. It also underwent a successful capital restructure and returned to profitability.
Justin’s expertise is in building sustainability programmes that assist in how companies communicate with their community about their relevance as well as the value and richness they add to society – even when working through tough issues.
